The Second Take

The Second Take is where I make videos for myself instead of for a brief. Each one is a story told in my own voice, with a cinematic red-and-maroon look, framed shots and custom motion graphics built in After Effects. It's where I try the editing styles I admire, rebuild them my way, and work toward a style that's mine.

Hello
I'm Jashu (Jaswanth on paper). I edit video for brands, musicians and anyone with a story worth cutting.
Most of my work happens in Premiere Pro, with After Effects for titles, motion and cleanup. Music videos are my favourite, short documentaries a close second.
When there's no brief, I make my own. The Second Take is my personal page, where I script, shoot and edit my own reels.
Lately I've been learning AI tools to speed up the boring parts, like transcripts and noisy audio, so there's more time left for the edit.
